Di dunia perhotelan, mengatur cost merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Salah satu kunci keberhasilan mengelola sebuah hotel adalah, kemampuan untuk mengelola pengeluaran dengan baik, artinya stay on top of invoices, serta memastikan bahwa payroll terkendali.
Di artikel kali ini, saya ingin membagikan cara menghitung CPOR (Cost Per Occupied Room), sebagai salah satu metode untuk mengontrol cost di dunia perhotelan.
Pada dasarnya, rumus CPOR membantu menghitung biaya rata-rata per kamar yang ditempati. Ini adalah salah satu indikator untuk mengukur dan menganalisa apakah biaya operasional untuk setiap kamar masuk akal.
Rumus dari CPOR adalah total Rooms Department Cost dibagi Total Rooms Sold dalam periode tersebut.
CPOR = Total Rooms Department Costs / Total Rooms Sold
Mohon di catat bahwa Total Rooms Department Cost yang dimaksud diatas terdiri dari biaya fixed dan variable costs.
